Solar Ground Mount Intro, DIY, Off-Grid System

Solar Ground Mount Intro, DIY, Off-Grid System

I’m gearing up for some summer solar projects. I’ll be installing a 4,380 watt solar array in my backyard. These will be as a ground mount from a commercial system. I was given the ground mount pieces as payment for labor.

The solar panels are LG, 365 watts each. I bought them used for $100 each, or about 27 cents per watt.

I’ll be connecting these panels to a charge controller to charge the batteries in my DIY powerwall. Check out some of my other videos to see how I turned a Chevy Volt battery into an off-grid battery bank.
