In this episode, I show the shelf I built for my battery bank. It will hold the 20 Valence Lithium Iron Magnesium Phosphate batteries I will be using for this project. The batteries are 12-volts each and will be wired in both series and parallel to create a total of five 24 volt battery banks. I will be using a Blue Sea Marine Grade battery selector switch along with a a Blue Sea 6-lug bus bar on both the positive and negative side. I will be placing an 80-amp ANL fuse on each battery bank on the negative side, and will place a 150 amp DC breaker switch on the positive side to use as an on-off switch. This way, I can turn off each of the battery banks individually in case I need to service the batteries.
